Grounds Crew Member

Resurrection Cemetery is looking to hire a Grounds Utility position. This is a Union position and reports directly to the Foreman. Relative to interments, candidate will operate heavy equipment, backhoe, loader and general machinery relative to digging, backfill and tamping of graves, installing memorials and concrete liners, assemble and knockdown of gravesite set\-ups, ground maintenance and other duties as assigned. This is a full\-time, Union position. 40 hours per week Monday\-Friday 7:30 AM\- 4:00 PM. Saturday overtime work may be required. Duties and Responsibilities: · Able to lift 80 lbs. · Work in adverse weather conditions (i.e., extreme summer heat, extreme winter cold and other extreme of weather\-related outdoor elements) · Perform repeated tasks of bending, kneeling, stooping, pulling hand\-over\-hand, digging and extensive walking. · Operate hand tools, small machines and equipment. · Operate heavy equipment (trucks, tractors, backhoe, etc.) · Hear conversational voices with or without hearing aid assistance. Qualifications: The candidate must possess: · High School or G.E.D. diploma, as well as a clean driver's license required. · Ability to read a map and drive in adverse weather conditions. · Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment highly desirable.
