Grounds Maintenance

**Job Summary and Responsibilities:** * Responsible for maintaining all buildings, grounds, and equipment at the Cemetery. * Follow all safety rules. * Lawn Maintenance: Mowing, weed trimming, and edging. * Assist with funeral services: Shovel work, moving matting for equipment, assisting in digging graves, moving equipment for burials, lifting of caskets, putting names and dates on mausoleums, and placing markers on gravesites. * Working knowledge of excavator and front end tractor with loader. * Work long hours or in inclement weather, as needed. * Able to work 20 feet off the ground. * Able to be compliant with all work orders. * Other tasks as assigned. **Job Requirements:** * Must have a valid driver's license. * Must be able to pass background screening. * Positive and helpful attitude. * Ability and willingness to learn new procedures, skills, and policies. * Must have reliable transportation to work. * Willing to work weekends on an as needed basis. **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 403B, Life Insurance, Sick Time, Vacation Time, and 13 paid holidays.
