Groundskeeper

*Added: January 23, 2025* *Pay:* *$18 an hour* The following is a list of responsibilities for the position of Groundskeeper. We have attempted to identify as many of the usual duties which are expected of this position. However, this list may not cover all duties required of the position and some of the duties listed may also be assigned to other position. Due to the demands of the business, the duties and requirements for any individual and any position at Memory Garden Memorial Park \& Mortuary may be changed by the management, as needed and without notice. Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Valid California Driver License. Duties: * General landscaping work. * Operating of backhoe to dig graves. * Setting up of interment equipment, tents, lowering devices, chairs, greens, etc. * Closing graves with dump truck and air tamper. * Cleaning mausoleum walkways, glass windows, dusting as needed. * Replacing lights in mausoleum. * Handling customer service requests, repairing graves, etc. * Removing dead flowers and decorations from cemetery. * Running irrigation system per watering schedule. * Irrigation repair work, replacing sprinkler heads, etc. * Setting of markers.
