Groundsperson

Performs specialized duties; including but not limited to maintenance of grounds, buildings, and equipment. Experience in grounds care, including lawn care and groundskeeping equipment is preferred. Qualifications: * High school graduate with six months to one year in grounds maintenance * Working knowledge of lawn and grounds maintenance and equipment * Ability to project a sincere, friendly, professional manner always * Ability to learn quickly and work well with staff and supervisors * Requires pre\-employment drug screen and background check * Requires valid driver's license and be insurable under the cemetery's auto insurance. * Demonstrated sensitivity to a multicultural church * May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature or to assist in areas where the Catholic Cemeteries needs require.
