Hospice Bereavement Coordinator

Roadrunner Hospice is growing, and we are looking for a Bereavement Coordinator for our Albuquerque location. You will provide supportive services to help meet the needs of the terminally ill Hospice patient and family as needed. This position requires the candidate to be able to work independently, must be flexible, innovative and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to manage the bereavement services program utilizing professional staff and volunteers. Attend IDG meetings, prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as needed. You will develop educational programs and materials regarding loss, grief and coping with bereavement. Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferred. Must have experience or education in grief or loss counseling. Active patient contact within the last 3 years preferred. A graduate from an accredited institution of social work, preferred. Valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required. Mileage stipened included. Travel in area will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
