Job Description

Exclusive Palliative Hospice, LLC is seeking an experienced **Hospice Office Manager** to assist with the day-to-day operations of our hospice office.

We are a small hospice agency looking for someone who already understands hospice operations and can help keep the office organized, compliant, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day hospice office operations
* Assist with new patient referrals and admissions
* Maintain organized patient and employee records
* Track physician orders and required documentation
* Follow up on missing or incomplete documentation
* Assist with scheduling and coordination of hospice staff
* Communicate with physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other team members
* Assist with Medicare hospice documentation and administrative requirements
* Help maintain files and records for surveys, audits, and compliance
* Handle incoming calls, faxes, emails, and other office correspondence
* Assist the Administrator and Director of Nursing with daily office needs
* Work with hospice electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Qualifications

* **Previous hospice experience is required**
* Hospice office, administrative, intake, coordinator, or management experience preferred
* Knowledge of Medicare hospice documentation and requirements
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Comfortable working independently in a small hospice office
* Computer and electronic medical record experience
* **HospiceMD experience is a plus**

We are looking for someone dependable, organized, professional, and knowledgeable about hospice. The ideal candidate should be able to come into the position with a good understanding of hospice operations and require minimal training.

**Pay Range:** $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on hospice experience.
