**Per Diem Hospice RN - North County (Pismo to Templeton)**

We are looking for a compassionate hospice RN to cover **North County, from Pismo Beach through Templeton** (including Arroyo Grande, Avila, SLO, Atascadero, and surrounding communities). This is meaningful per diem work with competitive visit rates and charting included.
Compensation
* **$200** per initial/admission visit
* **$75** per routine visit
* Charting is included in the visit rate
Flexible per diem scheduling. You set availability that respects your life while still showing up fully for patients and families.
The work
You will be the clinical heart of an interdisciplinary team - physicians, aides, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers - working from one plan of care built around the patient and family.
* Complete admissions and initial assessments in the home
* Provide skilled nursing: pain and symptom management, medication teaching, and clinical oversight
* Make routine visits that keep patients comfortable and families confident
* Teach caregivers so they feel capable, not overwhelmed
* Document clearly so the rest of the team can move as one
* Partner with the 24/7 nurse line so families are never left guessing between visits

Who you are
* Current California RN license (required)
* Hospice, home health, palliative, or strong med-surg experience preferred
* Comfortable independently assessing, teaching, and documenting in the home
* Reliable transportation and willingness to cover North County from Pismo to Templeton
* A calm, kind presence who can hold both clinical skill and human tenderness
CHPN or hospice experience is a plus. What we need most is a nurse who believes families deserve skilled care and real comfort - without being left alone.
Pay: $100.00 per hour
