We are seeking a driven, compassionate, and coachable **Inside Sales / Family Service Counselor** to join our on\-site team. This role is ideal for someone who is technologically confident, solutions\-oriented, and comfortable having meaningful conversations that truly impact families. This is not traditional sales—it is consultative, relationship\-driven, and centered around helping families prepare, protect, and plan for the future. **What You’ll Do** As a Family Service Counselor, you will be responsible for building relationships with families, guiding them through cemetery and pre\-planning options, and helping them make informed decisions with care and professionalism. **You will:** * Manage inbound and outbound communication through calls, texts, emails, and follow\-up appointments * Meet and exceed daily activity expectations of 80\+ outbound touchpoints per day (calls, texts, emails) * Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage leads, pipeline activity, and follow\-up opportunities * Work both company\-provided leads and self\-generated opportunities to build your own book of business * Conduct meaningful conversations with families during emotionally sensitive times * Assist families with pre\-planning cemetery property, memorialization, and related services * Perform administrative duties as needed to support daily operations and client service * Maintain strong follow\-up discipline and consistent pipeline management * Work closely with leadership through ongoing coaching, training, and performance development **What We’re Looking For** **We are looking for someone who is:** * Comfortable working in the death care industry and supporting families on some of the hardest days of their lives * Technologically adept and confident using CRM systems, texting platforms, email, and digital communication tools * Solutions\-oriented and able to think critically under pressure * Comfortable having difficult but necessary conversations with empathy and professionalism * Self\-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed goals—not just meet minimum expectations * Coachable and open to feedback, training, and personal growth * Organized, disciplined, and capable of balancing sales activity with administrative responsibilities * Professional, dependable, and committed to high standards of service **Why This Opportunity Stands Out** * Career growth within the largest death care provider in North America * Recession\-resistant industry with long\-term stability * Strong earning potential through performance\-based compensation * On\-site leadership, mentorship, and advancement opportunities * Access to an established brand families trust: Dignity Memorial® * The opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives every day **Preferred Qualifications** * Sales experience (inside sales, consultative sales, B2C, or service\-based industries preferred) * Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms * Strong communication and follow\-up skills * Ability to work on\-site full\-time * Funeral, cemetery, financial services, real estate, or high\-trust sales experience is a plus, but not required **The Reality of This Role** This position is rewarding, but it is not easy.
