Landscaper/Groundskeeper
Job Description
Springfield Cemetery is looking for a groundskeeper to join our team in Springfield, MA.
**Responsibilities**
* Perform general maintenance activities on the property, including landscaping, building upkeep
* Leaf **removal**
* Clean restrooms and restock restrooms as needed.
* Keep the cemetery looking great by taking care of the equipment, mowing,weed removal.
* Perform maintenance on landscaping such as pruning trees and replacing shrubs.
* Clean up trash on the grounds as it is collected by the cleaners.
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.**Desired Experience and Education**
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
* Basic knowledge of power tools.
* Knowledge of power equipment such as mowers and hedge trimmers.
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Flexibility to perform different tasks each day in order to meet company needs with minimal advance planning (this means no paper work or scheduling – you’ll just show up and do your job)
Job Type: Part\-time
Pay: $18\.00 \- $18\.50 per hour
