Laser Engraver Specialist

**Position Overview:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and compassionate Laser Engraver Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for personalizing pet urns \& keepsakes with engraved names, dates, and custom designs, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and care. The ideal candidate understands the importance of memorial products and approaches each order with precision, respect, and empathy. **Key Responsibilities:** * Operate and maintain laser engraving equipment to personalize pet urns and memorial items * Prepare and format engraving files using design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar) * Verify accuracy of names, dates, and custom messages before engraving * Monitor engraving process to ensure quality, consistency, and proper machine function * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laser equipment * Inspect finished products for quality assurance and correct any issues as needed * Organize workflow to meet production deadlines while maintaining attention to detail * Handle memorial items with care and respect at all times * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment **Qualifications:** * Experience operating laser engraving machines preferred * Basic proficiency with graphic design or layout software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Comfortable working in a production environment * Compassionate mindset and respect for memorial services industry **Physical Requirements:** * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs * Manual dexterity for handling small or delicate items **Preferred Skills:** * Experience in memorial products, engraving, or customization services * Familiarity with different materials (wood, metal, ceramic) * Basic troubleshooting skills for machine **Why Join Us:** At SafePassage Pet \& Equine Cremation, we provide meaningful services to families honoring their beloved pets.
