Affordable Funeral Home is seeking a **licensed Funeral Director** to join our staff. This position requires a compassionate leadership of funeral directing. The right candidate will be committed to professionalism, regulatory compliance, and providing comfort and care to families during their time of need.

Responsibilities

* Arrange, direct, and oversee funeral and memorial services.
* Meet with families to provide support and guidance in service planning.
* Prepare and file required legal documentation (death certificates, burial permits, etc.)
* Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and OSHA standards.
* Oversee body/area preparation, equipment, and facilities with professionalism and care.
* Collaborate with clergy, cemeteries, and service providers to ensure seamless services.

Qualifications

* Must hold a Funeral Director license in Louisiana.
* Strong organizational abilities with a high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, professional demeanor with the ability to support grieving families.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on call as required.
