Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer
Job Description
Heath Funeral Chapel is a progressive, independent funeral home in Lakeland, Florida. We are seeking a licensed professional funeral director/embalmer who has a caring nature and who is sensitive to the needs of each family we serve. The candidate’s skills should include strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others.
**Job Description**
\- Meets with families to listen and arrange personalized funeral and memorial services.
\- Ensures all files and records are accurate, timely, and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
\- Conducts and attends services.
\- Works on\-call and on weekends as needed.
\- Embalming and preparation
\- Computer Skills
\- Team player who maintains open and effective communication
\- Willing to participate in community events, groups, and/or organizations
**Requirements**
\- Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer with the State of Florida
\- Valid Florida driver’s license
