Meadows Funeral Home Inc. is seeking a compassionate and professional Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our dedicated team in Monroe, GA. **Responsibilities:**
* Perform embalming, restorative art, and preparation of the deceased in accordance with state regulations
* Meet with bereaved families to plan and arrange funeral services tailored to their needs and wishes
* Coordinate all aspects of funeral and graveside services, including logistics and vendor communication
* Prepare and file required legal documents, including death certificates and burial permits
* Transport deceased individuals with care and professionalism
* Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and compliance of the preparation room and facilities
* Provide compassionate grief support and aftercare resources to families

**Requirements:**
* Valid Georgia Funeral Director and Embalmer license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
* Associate's degree or higher in Mortuary Science from an accredited program
* Prior experience in funeral service, embalming, and family arrangement conferences preferred
* Strong knowledge of Georgia funeral service laws and regulations
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on\-call shifts
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
