SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Funeral Director to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting families, coordinating services, and ensuring all operations are handled with professionalism and care.
**Key Responsibilities**
Meet with families and assist with funeral and cremation arrangements
Coordinate and oversee services, ensuring a high level of care and presentation
Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations
Participate in on-call rotation and daily operational communication
**Qualifications**
Georgia Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
Prior funeral service experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
