We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Licensed Funeral Director to join our family funeral home. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who takes pride in serving families with care, dignity, and attention to detail while providing exceptional funeral service.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and confident in working with families during difficult and emotional times. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

* Meet with families to arrange and coordinate funeral services.
* Guide families through the funeral arrangement and service\-planning process.
* Coordinate visitations, funeral services, graveside services, and related arrangements.
* Direct and oversee funeral services in a professional and compassionate manner.
* Coordinate with cemeteries, clergy, crematories, florists, musicians, and other service providers.
* Complete necessary documentation, permits, and service\-related paperwork accurately and timely.
* Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism throughout every stage of the funeral process.
* Assist with preparation and other funeral home duties as needed based on experience and licensing.
* Provide exceptional customer service while representing the funeral home with professionalism and integrity.
* Work collaboratively with our team to ensure every family receives personalized and meaningful service.

**Qualifications**

* Current New York State Funeral Director License
* Five years licensed in New York State
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and time\-management abilities
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Compassionate, respectful, and comfortable working with families during times of loss
* Ability to work independently while also being a team player
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Availability to participate in an at\-need/on\-call rotation**,** including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredIf you are a dedicated Licensed Funeral Director

Pay: $42\.00 \- $60\.00 per hour
