Licensed Funeral Director/Manager Of Record

We are looking for a licensed Funeral Director in the state of Utah to serve as our designated Manager of Record. This part\-time role is highly flexible and perfect for an experienced professional looking for a supplemental, low\-stress alternative to traditional funeral home hours. You will oversee the statutory and legal requirements of our arrangements, ensuring absolute operational compliance while we manage day\-to\-end concierge event operations.

Core Duties \& Responsibilities: \* Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the licensed Manager of Record for Gracious Heart LLC under the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) requirements. \* Legal Documentation: Review, verify, and electronically sign death certificates and legal transit/cremation permits in a timely manner. \* FTC Compliance: Review and maintain the company's General Price List (GPL), disclosures, and upfront itemized contract templates to guarantee 100% adherence to the FTC Funeral Rule. \* Arrangement Support: Provide occasional remote or in\-person guidance during formal family arrangement conferences when statutory compliance review is required. \* B2B Quality Control: Ensure that our contracted wholesale trade crematories and mortuary transport partners maintain flawless regulatory and ethical standards. Requirements \& Qualifications: \* Active License: Must hold a current, unblemished Funeral Director license in the State of Utah. \* Industry Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of active experience navigating Utah death care regulations and electronic death registration systems (EDRS). \* Compliance Minded: Complete familiarity with the FTC Funeral Rule and Utah preneed/at\-need contract laws. \* Tech Savvy: Comfortable utilizing digital communication platforms, electronic filing portals, and cloud\-based business systems for remote document review. \* Localization: Residing in or near Utah County is highly preferred to support occasional in\-person compliance needs.

Pay: $300\.00 \- $500\.00 per day
