In this vital role, you will prepare deceased individuals for final arrangements, ensuring respectful and dignified care. Your expertise will help comfort grieving families while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, professionalism, and technical skill. Responsibilities * Perform embalming procedures with precision, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols * Conduct dissection and anatomical procedures to preserve the body for viewing and funeral services * Apply cosmetology techniques to restore natural appearance and ensure a respectful presentation * Support families through bereavement support, offering compassionate guidance and information * Manage body preparation, including dressing, positioning, and restorative work * Assist with event planning for funeral services, viewings, and memorial events * Maintain detailed records of all procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and health regulations Experience * Valid license as a Funeral Embalmer in accordance with state regulations * Proven experience in embalming, dissection, and anatomy knowledge * Strong understanding of physiology and sanitation standards in funeral services * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate empathetically with grieving families * Experience in funeral directing is a plus * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during body handling tasks Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families during their most challenging times. www.turlockfuneralhome.com Pay: $27\.00 \- $29\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
