Maintenance

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and cleaning the facility to guarantee safety, cleanliness and overall operation of the community center. Your energetic approach will help keep our facilities running smoothly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

**Duties**

* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Clean and maintain large areas, including mopping and trash removal.
* Set-up and break down tables and chairs for community events.
* Move furniture and equipment as needed.
* Safely lift,carry and move items weighing up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
* Ability to climb ladders to perform maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, hanging decorations etc.)
* Ability to complete outside tasks (snow removal, lawn care etc.) .
* Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance safety concerns.

**Qualifications**

* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Prior maintenance or custodial experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to obtain necessary background check and clearances required by the state of PA.
* Must be reliable, punctual and have the ability to work independently.
* Must be physically able to stand, bend, lift and perform manual labor, climb ladders, and lift up to 50lbs.
* Ability to communicate and coordinate with management needs of the facility.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
