**Maintenance Worker – Job Description** **Location:** Mission Hills Memorial Gardens Mission Hills Memorial Gardens is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Cemetery Maintenance Worker. This position plays a vital role in preserving the beauty, dignity, and peaceful atmosphere of our well\-maintained gardens, where families gather to honor loved ones. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, and leaf/blower cleanup * Assist with burial and monument setups, including preparing and restoring gravesites * Maintain landscaping features such as trees, shrubs, and flower beds * Clean and maintain cemetery roads, pathways, and common areas * Operate and maintain grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, tractors, and small tools * Perform light maintenance on equipment and facilities as needed * Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal and storm debris cleanup **Qualifications:** * Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions * Basic knowledge of landscaping and equipment operation preferred * Strong attention to detail and respect for cemetery property and families * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
