Andre’s Family Mortuary and Cremation LLC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized **Managing Funeral Director** to oversee daily funeral home operations, provide exceptional care to families, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

The Managing Funeral Director will provide leadership to the funeral home team while maintaining a high level of professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, and attention to detail in every aspect of our service.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the daily operations of the funeral home and ensure efficient workflow.
* Direct and coordinate funeral and memorial service arrangements from initial family contact through completion.
* Meet with families to discuss funeral service options, merchandise, services, and related arrangements.
* Ensure all required permits, authorizations, contracts, death certificates, and other documentation are completed accurately and timely.
* Coordinate with cemeteries, crematories, clergy, medical professionals, government agencies, and other service providers.
* Supervise and provide direction to funeral home staff, including scheduling, assignments, performance expectations, and operational procedures.
* Ensure proper handling, identification, preparation, transportation, and care of decedents in accordance with applicable requirements and company procedures.
* Maintain compliance with state and local funeral service laws, OSHA requirements, HIPAA/privacy requirements, and company policies.
* Monitor the preparation and readiness of facilities, vehicles, equipment, and service areas.
* Assist with staffing, training, onboarding, and development of funeral home personnel.
* Address operational and employee concerns professionally and communicate appropriately with Human Resources when employee-relations matters arise.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure required documentation is properly maintained.
* Help develop and maintain strong relationships with families, community partners, churches, and professional organizations.
* Respond to after-hours calls and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Represent Andre’s Family Mortuary and Cremation LLC with integrity and compassion at all times.

Qualifications

* Current **Nevada Funeral Director license** in good standing.
* Previous experience as a Funeral Director, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
* Strong knowledge of funeral service operations, arrangements, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, coach, and hold staff accountable.
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in emotionally sensitive situations.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple services and priorities simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management and staff.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience managing or supervising a funeral home team.
* Experience with funeral home management software and electronic documentation systems.
* Knowledge of Nevada funeral service laws and regulatory requirements.
* Experience with cremation services and coordination.
