This position is located at our newly acquired Marshfield Monument store in Marshfield, WI. Marshfield offers a mix of nature, art, and local history, making it an amazing place for visitors as well as those who call it home! Marshfield is home to Wildwood Park \& Zoo, Jurustic Park, Upham Mansion, and Wenzel Family Plaza. **Position Description:** The Memorial Consultant plays a vital role in helping the store to achieve sales goals. This position is responsible for operating the store of professionalism, integrity, and honesty while being a brand ambassador within the community, assisting with implementation of marketing plans and programs, interacting with customers in selecting a meaningful memorial, and promoting new products. This position has a base salary range of $46,000 \- $53,000 annually. This position is eligible for commissions on memorial sales. This position is eligible for additional bonuses based on store goals and metrics. This position will remain posted until filled with resume review ongoing. **Essential Functions:** * **Memorial Consultation \& Sales Coordination:** assist families in selecting, designing, and purchasing meaningful memorials, schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers, and enter prospects and sales orders into NetSuite * **Community Outreach \& Relationship Building:** build and maintain relationships with customers, co\-workers, and industry influencers, travel to cemeteries for order details, and engage in community outreach to establish the business as the top choice for memorials * **Store Operations \& Local Engagement:** maintain a service\-driven approach while supporting execution of the store sales plan and coordinating store promotions and community events * **Showroom Maintenance \& Team Support:** maintain a clean showroom and office, order supplies, travel for annual sales meetings and trainings, manage and delegate to support staff, and support and network with other sales representatives and ancillary staff **Top Benefits or Perks:** As a team member at Sunburst Memorials, you’ll enjoy: * A path to ownership in the company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision and dental insurance and a Health Savings Account (HSA) option with a generous company contribution * Employer paid short\-term and long\-term disability coverage * Paid holidays and paid time off * A collaborative environment where we believe that laughter and fun bond us together **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently * Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word * Strong organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills * Ability to work with employees and customers at all levels of an organization **Required Experience:** * High school diploma or equivalent * 2\+ years of inside/outside sales experience * Valid driver’s license with clean driving record **Preferred Experience:** * Associates or Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field * 3\+ years of inside/outside sales experience * An understanding of funeral home, cemetery, granite, or retail store operations We are an equal opportunity employer.
