We are currently seeking an On-Call Mortuary Transport Specialist to join our esteemed partner funeral home in Savannah, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the respectful care, removal, and transport of the deceased from the place of passing to the appropriate facility.

**Job Description:** The removal technician will complete and assist in the removal and transport of the deceased to the funeral home.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Completing or assisting in removal of descendants from hospitals, coroner offices, convalescent homes and residences.
* Performs verification of the deceased and reviews required documentation.
* Ability to lift 100+ pounds safely.
* Excellent customer service skills and respect towards families.
* Ability to properly fill out paperwork as assigned by the funeral home for removal of the deceased.
* Willingness and ability to work night shift and/or be on call.
* Assist funeral directors as needed.
* Clean Driving record/to be approved by Insurance Company
* Other duties as assigned by the location manager
**Job Types:** Part-time
**Compensation:** $33/hour
**Schedule and Other Requirements:**
* Weekend availability and on call availability
* Ability to commute/relocate
* Ability to pass a background check
* Clean driving record
* Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
