Mortuary Transport Driver

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mortuary Transporter to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to serve our community with empathy while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability. **Duties** * Safely operate specialized vehicles such as shuttle vans, limousines, or heavy\-duty trucks to transport deceased persons. * Coordinate with funeral homes, hospitals, and other facilities to schedule timely pickups and drop\-offs. * Assist with loading and unloading bodies using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of transport vehicles to uphold hygiene standards. * Communicate professionally with staff, families, and emergency responders to ensure smooth transportation operations. * Keep accurate records of all transports, including times, locations, and any special instructions. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. **Skills** * Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial or heavy\-duty vehicle operation preferred. * Physically capable and healthy. * Familiarity with Driving or Transport is a plus. * Safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes. * Excellent communication skills to interact respectfully with families, staff, and emergency personnel. * Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in a sensitive environment.
