Mortuary Transport Removal Technician

The Removal Technician is responsible for the professional and compassionate transfer of deceased individuals from the place of death to the funeral homes that we represent. Responsibilities: * Respond promptly to removal calls from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, and other locations. * Properly secure the deceased on the removal gurney, ensuring the body is covered and discreetly transported using body bags, sheets, or covers provided by the Funeral Home to maintain privacy. * Safely and respectfully transport the deceased to the designated facility. * Verify identification and complete all required documentation. * Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies in clean and serviceable condition. * Interact with families, medical staff, and law enforcement with professionalism and empathy * You must be able to lift in excess of 100 lbs * Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company insurance standards. * Able to pass Background Check Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $16\.00 \- $19\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching Work Location: In person
