Mortuary Transporter

We have a position available for a Mortuary Transporter. We represent many funeral homes in Florida and Southeast Georgia. It is our responsibility for the care and transporting of the deceased from the place of death to the desired funeral home. At times this job can be very stressful, especially when dealing with a family that has lost a loved one. Each family deserves and will receive the utmost respect from us. The applicant must be able to follow directions effectively and communicate well with others while in this type of environment. **Education:** High School or GED Equivalent **Experience:** Training can last up to 2 weeks. Experience in the funeral industry, fire/rescue, EMT is not required but is preferred. Experienced Drivers Encouraged to Apply **License:** **Valid Florida Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record, No DUI or Reckless Driving incidents** **Additional Requirements:** * **Must live in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Bilingual is a plus** * **Weekends and Nights are required** * **Must provide a current criminal background screening report with the provider we use. You will incur a $75charge, reimbursed at 6 month anniversary** * Will provide a current drug screening report with the provider we use. You will incur a $25\.00 charge, reimbursed at 6 month anniversary * Professional appearance including but not limited to; dress attire, hair style, no visible tattoos, no gauges in ears or facial piercing * Be respectful of the deceased and the families you encounter * Be able to maneuver heavy loads of 300\+ pounds * Must be able to handle fast paced and challenging environment while maintaining compassion and composure * Must be able to travel long distances * Must have a cell phone to receive calls * Must have access to computer and internet service * Must have basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Email) * Must ensure the removal vehicle is kept clean inside and out as well as properly maintained Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $600\.00 \- $700\.00 per week Work Location: On the road
