Mortuary Transporter

Prior experience in Death Care, Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, Military, EMS, security, caregiving, hospital security / transportation, or other medical field a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual! PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: \- Removing and transporting decedents from place of death to the funeral home \-Transferring decedents to and from the airport, medical examiner’s, donor facilities, and between mortuaries \-Respectfully interacting with grieving families, healthcare staff, mortuary employees, law enforcement, and coworkers to gather or relay necessary information \-Neatly and thoroughly completing identification tags and pertinent forms \-Maintaining vehicle and equipment sanitation REQUIREMENTS: \-21 years or older \-Valid Arizona driver's license \& a safe driving record (3\-year MVR mandatory) \-Heavy lifting (lift up to 150 \& push, pull, slide up to 200 pounds without assistance) \-*MUST* live within Tucson city limits \& have a basic knowledge of the surrounding communities \-Good time management \-Attention to detail \-Evening, night, weekend, \& holiday availability \-Professional business attire \& clean\-cut appearance \-Smart phone with reliable service \-Must be able to pass drug screening \& background check \-Excellent verbal and written communication skills \-Reliable transportation \-Spanish speaking a plus Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: $16\.00 \- $18\.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid training Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * related: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * ARIZONA driver's license (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Required) * Overnight Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
