Job Description
**Office Coordinator**
**Onsite – Racine, WI**
**Part\-Time**
**Key Responsibilities include:**
**Administrative Support:**
* Provide daily administrative assistance, including typing, data entry, recordkeeping, file management (physical and electronic), and professional correspondence.
* Coordinate calendars, appointments, and meetings for staff and clients.
* Manage sales transactions and maintain accurate documentation.
* Assist with the sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
* Cover the front desk when the Office Manager is absent.
**Client and Stakeholder Communication:**
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, families, staff, and funeral homes, handling inquiries and distributing information.
* Communicate with funeral homes to plan and schedule burials.
* Assist families with various needs as required.
**Project and Data Management:**
* Assist management with existing projects, research, and day\-to\-day operations.
* Conduct research for genealogy requests.
* Ensure accurate and accessible recordkeeping by inputting and updating information in databases and spreadsheets.
* Coordinate with the grounds crew to resolve details and ensure accurate data entry.
**Program Assistance:**
* Assist with mailing programs (wreath and flower programs).
* Take orders for wreath and flower programs.
Perform all other tasks as needed
**Essential Qualifications:**
* **Empathy and Sensitivity:** Ability to interact with professionalism and compassion when assisting clients and families experiencing grief and loss.
* **Administrative Skills:** Proficiency in typing, data entry, accurate recordkeeping, file management, and professional correspondence.
* **Organizational Prowess:** Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate schedules and calendars, and serve as a reliable point of contact.
* **Adaptability:** Flexibility to smoothly transition between varied tasks and demonstrate proactive problem\-solving abilities.
* **Team Player:** Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
* **Data Entry/Management:** Experience inputting and updating information accurately in databases and spreadsheets.
**Preferred Experience:**
* Prior customer service experience.
* Experience coordinating logistics and client interactions in an office setting (e.g., scheduling appointments/burials).
* Familiarity with diverse cultural practices surrounding death and grieving.
Pay: $17\.00 per hour
