Part-time CNA

We are looking for a Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide care and support to terminally ill patients the Lenity Way! Come see how we are different and what sets us apart and how we stand by our mission statement, “**Compassionate Care, One Patient at a Time”** and help our patients live their final days with dignity and comfort. **Pay is $19/hr.** Those CNAs who excel and provide excellent service to our clients as well as have an attitude and work ethic that matches with organizational needs will be offered a full time position within the company. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care * Make frequent visits to the patient to evaluate their condition * Provide support and comfort according to individual patient’s needs * Work with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care * Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase * Notify a Nurse for a patient’s condition when deemed necessary * Provide assistance with daily activities, grooming, bathing, personal hygiene, and household chores * Help relatives cope with the upcoming loss and provide bereavement support **Skills** * Proven experience as hospice nursing assistant (certification is a plus) * Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side\-effects * Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards * Proficient in English * Sound judgement and attention to detail * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature * Cool\-tempered and patient centered * Emotional/mental stability and stamina * Current CPR certificate * Must be able to pass a background check (Yes, we run a full background check) MUST MAINTAIN PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE!
