We are looking for a compassionate and dependable
**Part-Time Funeral Director**

to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who believes deathcare should be centered on dignity, compassion, transparency, and meaningful care.

The Funeral Director will assist families through the arrangements and coordination of funeral and memorial services while ensuring that every detail is handled professionally and respectfully. We are looking for someone who can balance the practical responsibilities of funeral service with genuine empathy for the people we serve.

**Responsibilities**

* Meet with families to discuss funeral, memorial, and final-placement arrangements
* Guide families through available service and merchandise options
* Coordinate funeral and memorial services with families, crematories, clergy, musicians, venues, and other service providers
* Complete and maintain required funeral service documentation and records
* Coordinate schedules, logistics, transportation, and service details
* Build connections with other funeral industry providers
* Assist with advance-planning consultations when appropriate
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
* Work collaboratively with staff and outside professionals
* Help identify opportunities to make funeral and memorial services more accessible, personalized, and meaningful
* Represent the organization with professionalism and compassion in the community

**Qualifications**

* Current Arizona Funeral Director license or appropriate Arizona licensure/credentials
* Experience working in funeral service preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Open, accepting, and inclusive
* Ability to work compassionately with people experiencing grief
* Professional demeanor
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing schedules
* Comfortable working independently in a small-business environment
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Proficiency with basic computer systems, email, scheduling, and recordkeeping
