Are you an RN who wants meaningful patient care without committing to a traditional full-time schedule?

Caring Cove Hospice is looking for a compassionate and dependable **Part-Time Visit RN** to join our growing team. This position is designed for a nurse who enjoys providing hands-on patient care, building relationships with patients and families, and working collaboratively with a supportive hospice team.

This is a **24-hour-per-week position with three set workdays each week**, providing consistency and predictability in your schedule. The position will also participate in some on-call responsibilities as part of our nursing team.

What You'll Do

As a Visit RN, you will provide skilled nursing visits to hospice patients in their homes and care facilities throughout our service area. Responsibilities include:

* Providing scheduled and as-needed nursing visits to hospice patients
* Assessing patient condition, symptoms, comfort, and care needs
* Providing symptom management and comfort-focused nursing care
* Educating and supporting patients, families, and caregivers
* Communicating changes in patient condition to the appropriate members of the hospice team
* Collaborating with RN Case Managers, physicians, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members
* Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
* Assisting with changes in patient needs and urgent visits when appropriate
* Participating in assigned on-call responsibilities
* Providing compassionate support to patients and families during end-of-life care

What We're Looking For

* Current Indiana RN license in good standing
* Strong nursing assessment and clinical judgment skills
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work independently in patient homes and facilities
* Dependability, flexibility, and strong follow-through
* Comfort working with patients and families during emotionally difficult situations
* Hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, geriatrics, or other relevant experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider an experienced RN who is genuinely interested in hospice care
* Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within our service area

Schedule

* Part-Time – 24 hours per week
* Three set days each week
* Some participation in the nursing on-call rotation
* Field-based position with travel to patient homes and facilities
