Part-Time Senior Grounds Maintenance Worker - Cemetery

**Summary** ----------- The purpose of this position is to assist Cemetery maintenance crew with day\-to\-day duties of operating the City of Lubbock Cemetery. **Essential Functions** ----------------------- * Drive light trucks to haul supplies and materials such as dirt and caliche. * Operate mowers and other machines of comparable size and complexity. * Maintain and service equipment, machines and trucks. * Assist with various other activities including mowing and edging grass, maintaining sprinkler systems, and removing litter and debris. * Assist in the preparation for funerals. **Qualifications** ------------------ Completion of the tenth grade with an additional six months to one year of experience in operation and maintenance of light motorized equipment; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following *Physical Exam Required* *Driver's License preferred but not required*
