Job Description

**\** **The pastor will be doing the sermon, providing Pastoral Care and Counseling including visiting the homebound. Worship Leadership, and Working with the church board.** **This is a part time position and we do offer a parsonage ( house for them to stay in.)** **\** * Offer bereavement support to grieving families, guiding them through their healing process with empathy and understanding * Provide hospice care support by offering spiritual comfort to patients and their loved ones during challenging times * Utilize excellent communication skills to counsel individuals on personal issues, Christian counseling topics, and life challenges * Mentor members of the congregation, encouraging their spiritual development and active participation in church life**\** * Experience in bereavement support, hospice care, or social work within a faith\-based setting is highly desirable. * Knowledge of Christian counseling principles and practices * Ability to work well with children, youth, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds * Commitment to living out Christian values with integrity, compassion, and enthusiasmspiritual journey This part\-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve others passionately while developing your leadership skills within a supportive faith community.
