Pet Care Specialist

**Overview** Eternal Water Cremation is the first and only pet water cremation provider in Miami\-Dade County, proudly serving families and veterinary clinics across South Florida with compassionate, eco\-friendly aftercare. This role involves hands\-on pet aftercare, emotional interaction with families, and respectful operational work inside our facility. You will play an important part in ensuring each pet’s final journey is handled with care, dignity, and compassion. **Duties** * Perform fur clippings and clay paw print impressions as keepsakes for families * Safely prepare pets for the aquamation (water cremation) process * Operate and monitor cremation/aquamation cycles following training and safety protocols * Maintain respectful identification and tracking procedures for every pet * Memorial Preparation \& Returns * Prepare final return packages for families, including ashes, keepsakes, and memorial items * Ensure each return is accurate, beautifully presented, and handled with care * Greet and assist grieving pet parents with warmth and empathy * Answer basic questions about services in a calm, reassuring manner * Maintain confidentiality and emotional sensitivity at all times * Keep the workspace clean, organized, and peaceful * Follow sanitation, safety, and operational procedures * Assist with inventory, supplies, and general facility upkeep * Support overall daily operations as needed * Comfortable working in an environment involving deceased animals **Physical Requirements** * Ability to lift and carry pets up to approximately 80 lbs (with assistance when needed) * Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift * Comfortable working in an environment involving deceased animals **Ideal Candidate** * Able to support grieving families with sensitivity * Respectful of animals in life and in passing * Calm, dependable, and detail\-oriented * Trustworthy, responsible, and able to work independently Pay: $20\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
