Sweet Dreams Pet Crematory is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organized **Crematory Technician & Client Care Specialist** to join our committed team in Woodstock, GA. This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in both the behind-the-scenes care of pets and the direct support of the families who love them.

This position combines **client care and customer service with crematory operations**. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and understands the importance of providing exceptional care during what can be one of the most difficult times in a pet owner's life.

As a Client Care Specialist, you will help guide clients through every phase of the aftercare process, ensuring they understand what to expect, their questions are answered, and their needs are met with compassion and attention to detail. When you are not directly assisting clients, you will work alongside the crematory team as a Crematory Technician, helping wherever needed to ensure the daily operation runs smoothly and every pet is treated with dignity, care, and respect.

Responsibilities

**Client Care & Customer Service**

* Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the pet aftercare process
* Guide families through each phase of the cremation and memorial process with compassion, patience, and professionalism
* Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, timelines, procedures, and available options
* Anticipate client needs and proactively address questions or concerns
* Ensure clients feel heard, supported, and cared for throughout their experience with Sweet Dreams
* Handle client communications by phone, email, and other communication platforms in a professional and empathetic manner
* Assist with coordinating services and ensuring accurate client and pet information is maintained
* Follow through on client requests and concerns to ensure they are resolved appropriately
* Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor when working with grieving families
* Represent Sweet Dreams and our commitment to exceptional client care in every interaction

**Crematory Operations**

* Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of daily operations
* Operate crematory equipment and related machinery in a safe and responsible manner
* Drive company vehicles to pick up pets from our other locations and clients' homes
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking, identification, and handling of every pet
* Assist with all aspects of the crematory workflow as needed
* Treat every pet in our care with dignity, compassion, and respect
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
* Follow all established procedures and protocols for pet identification, handling, cremation, and aftercare
* Work collaboratively with the crematory team to ensure daily operations run efficiently

Experience & Qualifications

* Previous experience in **customer service, client care, or a client-facing role required**
* Previous experience in the veterinary field or pet cremation industry ideal
* Background in the pet care industry ideal (e.g., animal shelters, grooming, boarding, veterinary hospitals, or other pet services)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately with people experiencing grief
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in emotionally difficult situations
* Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and performing physical tasks
* Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
* Clean driving record required
* Valid Georgia driver's license required
* Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team
* Must be comfortable working in both a **customer-facing environment and a crematory setting**

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
