Pre-Planning Consultant

Roller Funeral Homes and Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company are seeking a full-time Preplanning Consultant to serve families in Conway and the surrounding area.

Conway is one of our busiest preplanning markets in Arkansas. The representatives who served this area for more than 30 years have retired, creating an immediate opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and developing a successful career in sales.

This is a full-time W-2 employee position with Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company, with company benefits, guaranteed introductory income while you complete training and get established, and commission-based compensation that rewards your sales production.

Existing relationships to continue. You'll be assigned responsibility for some contacts and families previously served by our longtime representatives. Strong follow-up and customer relationship management are an important part of this position.

Flexibility with structure. You'll have scheduled duty days when you are available to meet with families through the funeral home, while also having the flexibility to schedule appointments around your calendar and when families are available.

This is a sales position, and success depends on your ability to communicate, follow up, build trust and consistently develop relationships.

Compensation

New consultants receive guaranteed introductory income during training and while getting established.

Following the introductory period, compensation is commission-based. There is no company-imposed cap on the commissions you can earn.

In previous years, agents in this market who consistently put in the time, developed relationships and maintained strong sales activity have earned between $60,000 and $100,000 annually. Individual earnings vary based on sales production.

What You'll Do

* Meet with individuals and families to discuss planning funeral, cremation and cemetery arrangements in advance
* Explain available preplanning options and help families select arrangements that fit their wishes and budget
* Offer Whole Life, Term and Final Expense insurance products through Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company
* Assist families with prepaid funeral and cremation plans
* Assist with cemetery spaces, monuments, markers and memorial products
* Follow up with families referred through our funeral homes
* Respond to website inquiries and other company-generated opportunities
* Maintain and develop assigned family and customer relationships
* Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective clients
* Schedule appointments and manage ongoing sales follow-up
* Build new relationships through community involvement, referrals and local events
* Participate in educational and community outreach opportunities
* Maintain accurate customer information and activity in our CRM system
* Complete applications, contracts and required sales documentation
* Represent Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company and Roller Funeral Homes professionally throughout the community

Your Schedule

This is a full-time position with a combination of scheduled responsibilities and flexibility.

You'll have designated duty days to be available to meet with families through the funeral home. You'll also manage your own appointments, follow-up and community outreach, allowing you to schedule meetings at times that work for both you and the families you serve.

Because families' schedules vary, some appointments may take place outside traditional business hours.

Most work is performed in person throughout Conway and nearby communities.

Training and Licensing

No previous funeral service or insurance sales experience is required.

New consultants receive training in our products, preplanning process, sales approach and the systems used to manage family relationships.

An Arkansas funeral final expense insurance license is required for the position. For a prospective consultant who is not already licensed, Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company can initially cover the approximately $75 licensing cost.

Guaranteed introductory income is provided while the new consultant completes training and begins getting established.

* Experienced with a CRM system or willing to learn one
* Able to communicate professionally in person and by phone
* Able to work independently while representing an established organization

Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. CRM experience is a strong plus.

A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally throughout Conway and surrounding communities are required.
