**Job Title: Professional Landscaper, Union Crew**

Pay Rate: $33\.59/hour

**Organization**
Knollwood Cemetery Corp operates Sharon Memorial Park and Knollwood Memorial Park, which provides compassionate and professional cemetery services to families and funeral professionals. We are seeking a hardworking, dedicated person to join the Landscaping and Grounds Crew, to help maintain the beauty of the parks and provide professional services at time of burial.
**Position Summary**
A Professional Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the park grounds of Knollwood and Sharon Memorial Parks. The position works with the other Grounds and Burial crew members as needed for such tasks as weed whacking, lawn mowing, planting, grave openings/closings, and burials.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Operation of hand tools and some motorized equipment
* General grounds keeping: weed whacking, lawn mowing, digging, planting
* Assist with installation of bronze markers
* Funeral tasks include:
* Assist with digging crew
* Positioning the casket lowering device, erecting canopies, and arranging chairs
* Lowering caskets, backfilling dirt
* Additional duties as required
* Available to work overtime, including weekends
**Qualifications**
* Experience working as a professional landscaper is required
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Ability to prioritize tasks
* Ability to speak and write fluent English
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity, maintaining composure in difficult situations
* Must have and maintain valid driver’s license
**Physical Requirements**
* Must be able to stand for 6\+ hours
* Must be able to lift 50\+ lbs.
