**San Jose Palm Funeral Home Memorial Plan** is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in **Hialeah, FL** where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. **The Receptionist** serves as the first point of contact for families, guests, and visitors, creating a welcoming and compassionate experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call our location. This role plays a vital part in supporting daily operations by managing communications, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring visitors are directed to the appropriate resources. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and service-oriented, with a genuine commitment to helping others. Through exceptional customer service and attention to detail, the Receptionist helps create a positive and supportive environment for the families and communities we serve.

**Responsibilities**

* Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
* Assist in answering customer questions and resolving any issues
* Collect, sort, distribute, and prepare mail and schedule courier deliveries
* Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate location
* Provide information about location such as departments, offices, employees, and services offered

**Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or equivalent education
* 6+ months of customer service or receptionist experience
* Basic computer skills, MS Word and Outlook
* Professional communication skills
