At Sunset Funeral Home, Cremation Center \& Cemetery in Evansville, we're hiring a full\-time **Sales Representative** to guide families through pre\-need planning for funeral, cremation, and cemetery services. The consultative sales skills you've spent years building – prospecting, building trust, closing – are exactly what this work demands, and the earning potential is real: average $60,000–$80,000 annually, uncapped for top performers.
**The Role**
Pre\-need planning means meeting families before a loss forces the conversation. You help them make important decisions on their own terms, and you build the kind of trust that generates referrals for years. If you've sold life insurance or sat across from someone deciding on a major purchase, you already understand this sale.
**Your Day\-to\-Day**
* Prospect for new clients through outreach, referrals, and community presence in the Evansville area
* Conduct in\-home and in\-office consultations with families
* Present funeral, cremation, and cemetery options clearly and without pressure
* Manage your own pipeline and schedule
* Follow a proven selling system with clear performance goals
**Who We're Looking For**
* 3\+ years in a consultative sales role (insurance, automotive, retail, real estate, or similar)
* Proven ability to prospect independently and manage a full sales cycle
* Valid driver's license; availability for some evenings and weekends
* Based in or able to commute to Evansville, IN
