SEASONAL & VARIABLE LABORER/CEMETERY

**Salary/Pay Rate:** $14\.28 \- $18\.00 **Opening Date:** 2/2/2026 **Closing Date:** Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity The Orem Public Works Department is currently hiring for seasonal and variable laborers for the cemetery. These are non\-benefited positions responsible for performing a variety of manual duties in the Public Works Department. Duties will be related to cemetery maintenance such as, sprinkler system repairs, painting, cleaning. Uses a variety of tools and equipment depending on the specific assignment. Performs additional duties as assigned. For a complete job description click here. Qualifications May require a valid driver license and have a good driving record. Must be able to perform heavy manual labor outside during spring, summer and fall months in all weather conditions. Due to equipment operation, applicants must be at least 17 years of age; some positions require being at least 18 years of age depending on assingments. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre\-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Pay and Benefits $14\.28 \- $18\.00 Schedule Scheduling will be Monday \- Saturday from 7:00 am \- 4:00 pm depending on needs.
