**How you'll contribute:**

A **Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)** who excels in this role:

* Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
* Participate in quality and performance improvement activities, as assigned.
* Monitors employees for compliance to all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
* Consults with supervisor when non-compliance is observed.
* Maintains open communication with co-workers and uses appropriate chain of command regarding issues.
* Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
* Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
* Documents patient care given.
* Administers injections, vaccines and medications and other related tasks as instructed by physician.
* Requests, obtains and reviews all records, test and lab results at least one day prior to the visit.
* Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
* Maintains the cleanliness of the examination areas.
* Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
* Retrieves and returns telephone calls to patients in a timely manner and relay information provided by physicians.

**Shift:** Nights 3x12s – 7:00PM-7:00AM

**What we're looking for:**

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required; Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required
* License: CCMA, CMA or RMA
* Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.
* 2 years’ experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
* 6 months of phlebotomy experience
