Sleep Lab Manager

**Schedule:** Full-Time (40 hours per week) | Salaried | Primarily daylight hours, with occasional night shifts + no on-call responsibilities or travel required.

**How you’ll contribute**
A **Sleep Lab Manager** who excels in this role:

* Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.
* Follows HIPAA and privacy policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
* Works collaboratively with the Medical Director, Neurology, Sleep Specialists, and technical staff to maintain quality patient care.
* Provides education to patients, community members, and technical staff.
* Coordinates routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation.
* Demonstrates computer skills appropriate for the position.
* Demonstrates effective written and verbal skills.
* Responsible for clinical operations: through independent judgment provides direction to sleep technicians/EEG technologists and works collaboratively with administrative staff.
* Collaborative oversight of Epilepsy Monitoring Unit on 10 Rose where EEG Technicians provide assistance with patient care.
* Functions as a role model in clinical specialty, demonstrating competency in clinical judgment, select technical skills and appropriate knowledge base stepping into the role of a technologist as necessary.
* Develops and monitors Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives. Involves staff in initiatives through planning, data collection, and analysis.
* Actively participates in evaluation of new products, procedures, and equipment.
* Remains aware of current sleep research and assists staff in implementing relevant findings as applicable.
* Aligns departmental policies with the standards of the AASM and Joint Commission.

**What we’re looking for**
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in related field. Additional requirements include:

* Four years in experience in Clinical Healthcare**.**
* One of the following credentials or eligible within two years: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), or Registered Respiratory Therapist with Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS), Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT).
