Small Engine Mechanic - Turf Equipment Specialist

Greenwood Memorial Park is seeking a **Small Engine Mechanic – Turf Equipment Specialist** to service, maintain, and repair cemetery and funeral home equipment.

Minimum two year's related experience required. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and insurable driving record. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties Summary

* Trouble-shoot and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, generators, backpack blowers, and other power equipment.
* Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, carburetor adjustments, and belt replacements. Maintain records of planned and completed maintenance.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines and machinery.
* Run errands and pick up parts.
* Assist lead mechanic with other duties and repairs as needed.

Skills Summary

* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in small engine and turf maintenance equipment repair, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting.
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
* Ability to lift heavy components safely during manual handling tasks; physical strength is essential

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
