**Forever Friends Pet Cremation and Memorialization** *Transportation Specialist/Customer Liaison (Mon \- Fri, 8\-4\)* Do you have a strong work ethic but a soft heart? Do you want to help ease the grief of those who have lost a beloved family pet? This position requires both pickup of deceased pets at our client vet clinics and the return of memorial packages to families with our condolences as a representative of Forever Friends. We are looking for hard\-working, compassionate individuals who can demonstrate our core values of respect, transparency, accountability and service excellence. Dependability is also key! This position handles the primary function of transferring pets from the place of death to Forever Friends and returning memorial packages from Forever Friends back to families at their homes. However, you will also be cross\-trained on crematory functions and may be called on to perform those functions if the need arises. Detailed job functions: * Transfers pets from the place of death to Forever Friends and returns memorial packages from Forever Friends to private residences, ensuring all documentation is complete. * Maintains appropriate chain of custody documentation, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of remains while in company care. * Follows quality control process to ensure 100% accuracy in our products and services. * Demonstrates exceptional care and respect for every pet and family we serve. * May be called on to perform cremation or engraving duties if needed, which includes creating memorial keepsakes, cremating pets, preparing remains and engraving memorial urns. * Ensures the work area is tidy, clean, and organized. * Follows safety protocols and codes of conduct as set forth by the company. * Meets all deadlines. * Participates in staff meetings and offers suggestions to improve family satisfaction, product and service offerings and profitability of the company. * Performs additional duties as assigned.
