Volunteer Coordinator - Hospice

**What You'll Do:** As our **Volunteer Coordinator**, you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, managing, training, and coordinating our amazing volunteer team. Here's how you'll make a difference:

* **Recruit & Train:** Lead exciting recruitment sessions to find, educate, and onboard volunteers who are ready to lend a helping hand.
* **Volunteer Support:** Ensure our volunteers have the tools they need through training, support, and supervision. Keep track of monthly stats and make sure the program is running smoothly.
* **Team Player:** Be part of interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring our patients and families get the care and support they deserve.
* **Community Outreach:** Spread the word! Share the importance of hospice volunteer services with individuals and community groups.
* **Bereavement Care:** Oversee our **Bereavement Program**, providing grief counseling and support to families and caregivers after the loss of their loved ones.

**What You Bring:**

* **Healthcare Experience:** At least 2 years in a healthcare setting (hospice and volunteer experience preferred).
* **Education:** A college degree in healthcare or human services is a plus!
* **Grief Counseling Skills:** Experience in grief or loss counseling is needed if you take on the Bereavement Coordinator role.
* **Driver's License:** Must have a valid license and reliable transportation.
