This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment that values integrity, respect, and operational excellence. **Responsibilities** * Operate cremation equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety protocols * Perform heavy lifting of remains and related materials to ensure proper placement within the cremation chamber * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of industrial cremation machinery to ensure optimal performance * Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, including chain\-of\-custody documentation and operational logs * Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local regulations governing crematory operations and environmental standards * Ensure the proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all equipment and work areas to uphold hygiene standards **Qualifications** * Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating industrial or specialized equipment * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently as part of daily duties * Prior experience or familiarity with funeral directing or related funeral service operations is preferred * Strong attention to detail with excellent recordkeeping skills * Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and handle sensitive situations with professionalism * High school diploma or equivalent and Certifications in crematory operations are required Join us in providing respectful, dignified services that support families during their most important moments.
