Your expertise will help uphold the dignity of every individual served while ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines. **Duties** * Operate and monitor cremation equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout each process * Perform heavy lifting of caskets, remains, and related materials safely and efficiently * Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, including start and end times, identification, and compliance documentation * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of industrial cremation equipment to ensure optimal performance * Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a clean, hazard\-free work environment * Assist funeral directors and staff with logistical tasks related to the preparation and transfer of remains * Adhere to all environmental regulations regarding emissions control and waste management **Qualifications** * Valid certification as a Crematory Operator with relevant licensing or accreditation * Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment used in cremation processes * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a physically demanding environment * Experience or familiarity with funeral directing practices is preferred but not required * Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial machinery operation and hazardous materials * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records * Willingness to work graveyard shift hours, between midnight and six a.m. as needed Join us in providing compassionate service with professionalism, integrity, and respect.
