Your work will uphold the highest standards of dignity, safety, and operational excellence, making a meaningful difference in our community. **Responsibilities** * Operate cremation equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols * Handle heavy lifting of caskets, urns, and remains using industrial equipment or manual techniques as needed * Transport remains securely and respectfully between facilities, vehicles, and storage areas in compliance with safety guidelines * Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, including documentation of procedures and chain of custody * Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on cremation machinery to ensure optimal performance * Assist funeral directors with logistical coordination and support during funeral services or memorials * Follow all safety procedures related to handling hazardous materials and operating heavy industrial equipment **Skills** * Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot cremation machinery effectively * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with workplace safety standards * Experience working with industrial equipment used in cremation operations or similar environments * Background or training in funeral directing is a plus, providing insight into respectful service delivery * Excellent attention to detail for recordkeeping, safety checks, and procedural compliance * Compassionate demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally * Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting families during difficult times Pay: From $16\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
