This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping families honor their loved ones with dignity and respect. **Responsibilities** * Guide families through the funeral planning process, explaining available options and assisting with decision\-making to create personalized services. * Coordinate all logistical aspects of funeral arrangements, including scheduling ceremonies, liaising with clergy or celebrants, and managing venue preparations. * Provide empathetic bereavement support to grieving families, offering comfort and understanding throughout their journey. * Handle administrative tasks such as preparing documentation, liaising with vendors, and maintaining accurate records of arrangements. * Assist with event planning for funeral services, ensuring that every detail aligns with families’ wishes and cultural or religious traditions. * Perform physical duties such as heavy lifting when necessary to transport caskets or equipment safely and efficiently. * Collaborate closely with sales teams to offer appropriate products and services that meet families’ needs while maintaining compassionate customer service. **Requirements** * Previous experience in funeral directing or related bereavement support roles is highly desirable. * Strong event planning skills with an eye for detail and organization. * Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance and compassionate support to grieving families. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling caskets or equipment. * Demonstrated sales aptitude to effectively present services and products in a sensitive manner. * Knowledge of cultural or religious customs related to funeral services is a plus. * A genuine desire to serve others during difficult times, combined with professionalism and empathy.
