So, if you have a compassionate spirit and are looking for a rewarding career, this position is the right one for you. **MAJOR DUTIES:** The Funeral Director Assistant position performs a variety of funeral service\-related tasks before, during, and after a funeral or memorial service, visitations, committal services and other related services under the direct supervision of a licensed funeral director. Duties – Provides support assistance to funeral operations and licensed funeral directors. This includes working with the public, assisting with funerals, burials, and cremations. The Funeral Assistant job duties must be performed consistent with the company mission and values and adhere to company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as requested or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated. Follows all safety regulations, policies and procedures. Reports all unsafe conditions and acts to supervisor. Reports all accidents to the supervisor immediately whenever possible, but no later than end of the employee's work shift. Follows recognized safe work practices. **Requirements**: · Valid driver’s license. · Excellent ability apply empathy. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal, intrapersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. · Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. · Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. · Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. · Proven strong attendance record with the ability to work in a team environment. · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. · Ability to travel to/between locations. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** · Must be able to: sit for long periods of time, walk, talk, hear and lift objects up to 50 pounds. · Speak clearly so listeners can understand. · Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them. · Must have clarity of vision of 20 inches or less.
