This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community while showcasing your skills in event planning, customer service, and funeral directing. **Duties** * Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, providing compassionate bereavement support and guidance throughout the process * Coordinate all aspects of funeral services, including scheduling, transportation, and venue setup to ensure seamless ceremonies * Prepare and dress deceased individuals with care, utilizing cosmetology skills and knowledge of anatomy and dissection techniques * Oversee sanitation and hygiene standards within preparation areas to maintain a respectful environment * Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, permits, and legal requirements related to death certificates and transportation * Assist families with selecting caskets, urns, and memorial products while demonstrating sales skills to meet their needs * Lead or participate in community outreach efforts to educate the public about funeral services and grief support resources **Experience** * Prior experience in funeral directing or related fields such as mortuary science or bereavement counseling preferred * Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to handle body preparation with professionalism and respect * Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and effectively during sensitive situations * Experience in event planning to organize funeral ceremonies that honor loved ones’ lives beautifully * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling caskets or equipment required for body preparation * Familiarity with sanitation protocols, cosmetology techniques for body dressing, and dissection procedures is advantageous * Demonstrated sales aptitude to assist families in selecting appropriate memorial options while maintaining ethical standards Join us in providing heartfelt support during life's most challenging moments.
